Something is just not adding up.
Soap Central has listed episode #13812 (airdate: Tues, May 23rd) as the first of two GH episodes in the category. The synopsis centers around the campy filler hour that is the kickoff to the Nurses Ball. However, IMDB has listed episode #13812 (airdate: Thurs, May 18th) and the synopsis centers on Robin thinking…[Read more]
I’m bummed because Miriam Shor should totally be nominated for The Americans, but I think she won’t be eligible because of episode count. Tonight was episode 5 out of 10, and I’m pretty sure she’s been in all 5 so far. That’s why I hate the 50% rule, because performances like Shor’s are ineligible despite definitely being guest performers.
I don’t think there has been official word how much of Heap’s music was written for the play, and therefore, if it’s eligible or not. If I am mistaken and there has been an announcement regarding this, please put a link 🙂
If it is, that’s a shame. The original score category is literally just tumbleweeds at this point.
La La Land.
To go from unbeatable frontrunner to Oscar BP winner to most shocking moment in Oscar history was tough to swallow.
Obviously I can’t complain about its near-sweep of the precursors.
Just catching up on this thread and I’m kinda surprised. Like Tony Ruiz I wasn’t impressed by Lanier. She submitted a great reel that just needs another actress in that role. She’s just not convincing at all. Better than last year’s reel, but that’s not saying much. But Reign Edwards ripped my heart out. The only competition I think she really has…[Read more]
“Black people don’t have to be democrats,” Chance the Rapper wrote on Twitter on Wednesday, and he is right.
Democrats voted against every piece of civil rights legislation in Congress from 1866 to 1966 – a whopping 100 years. That is a dismal record for today’s Democrats who would like you to believe that history has been on their side on this…[Read more]
Ann was astonishing, not expecting that performance. Probably winning again
Loved Bledel, maybe less remarkable than last reason, but really great, i hope she gets a better tape next episodes or goes guest
It pisses me that Moss is that good, i really want claire to win, but it seems unlikely
I don’t understand why people are concerned about…[Read more]

Best episode of the season so far, and like Continuum before it, The Expanse’s quality is why there needs to be an amendment to Emmy and Gloden Globe eligibility. Any English language show, no matter its country of origin, no strings attached, if it debuts on a U.S. broadcast network, basic cable or premium cable channel, will in fact be eligible…[Read more]
My fear is that, the fact that Y&R’s reel seems to have so much mystery and secrecy around it, is going to mean they’re going to win. which i suppose would be ok, as long as GH DOES NOT win. lol But I am really rooting for DOOL to win this year, I usually do, but this year they really deserve it.
let them pull a 1979–1980, taking up most of the category:
Nancy Marchand Margaret Pynchon Lou Grant CBS
Nina Foch § Mrs. Polk Lou Grant CBS
Linda Kelsey Billie Newman
Jessica Walter Melanie McIntyre Trapper John, M.D.
