Three-time Emmy champ Bryan Cranston must sit out the next derby because “Breaking Bad” doesn’t have six new episodes airing during the eligibility period. Now the big question is whether the favorite for this race will be one of the guys long overdue for Emmy recognition or a heavy-hitter in a new TV show.
There might be a groundswell of support for the likes of Emmyless Jon Hamm (“Mad Men”), Michael C. Hall (“Dexter”) or Hugh Laurie (“House”), but watch out for big-name newcomers like Dustin Hoffman (“Luck”), Steve Buscemi (“Boardwalk Empire”), Jeremy Irons (“The Borgias”) and William H. Macy (“Shameless”).
Vote for who you think has the best chance at this early stage after the break.
