The 4,200 members of the movie and TV nominating committees for the Screen Actors Guild Awards can expect their ballots in their mailboxes starting Friday. While the actors union mailed the paper version of the selection sheets on Wednesday, the voters can cast their choices online as well as by return mail. Either way, the deadline for receipt by IntegrityVoting Systems is Dec. 13 at 5 p.m (PT).
Nominees for the 17th annual edition of these kudos will be announced at the Pacific Design Center on Dec. 16 at 6 a.m. (PT) and telecast on TNT and webcast on both tnt.tv and tbs.com. The two separate panels considering acting achievements in film and television were randomly selected from the 100,000 guild members in April. Performers had till Oct. 28 to submit themselves for consideration.
Final voting information will be mailed to all eligible voting members of the Guild on Dec. 30. Votes will be cast online except by those voters who request a paper ballot by Jan. 14. All votes must be received at Integrity Voting Systems by noon PT on Jan. 28. Winners will be announced on Jan. 30 during a live kudocast on both TNT and TBS beginning at 5 p.m. (PT).
