Saturday was a good night for “Mad Men” and “Modern Family” as the two series won top prizes with both the WGA and the Art Directors Guild.
At the 15th annual ADG Awards, “Mad Men” took the hour-long single camera honor for the fourth year in a row while “Modern Family” won its first prize for half-hour single camera series. The long-running “Saturday Night Live” won its first multi-cam award.
Last year’s Academy Awards won the catch-all category of awards/music/game show while Lifetime’s “Secrets in the Wall” won the movie/mini prize. And the Dos Equis ad won the commerical/music video race.
