‘Broken’ pulls off upset at British Independent Film Awards

“Broken” – a drama about a London girl who witnesses a violent crime – pulled off an upset for Best Picture at the British Independent Film Awards over horrorfest “Berberian Sound Studio,” which won four consolation prizes: Best Director (Peter Strickland), Best Actor (Toby Jones), Technical Achievement and Production.  Below, the list of winners.
