For the first time in four years, the Male Performance award won’t be going to the star of a teen film franchise. Last year, Josh Hutcherson won this category for “The Hunger Games” and will no doubt contend again next year for “Catching Fire,” the upcoming second installment in that trilogy. However, two-time champ Robert Pattinson (2010, 2011) was snubbed for his farewell appearance as Edward Cullen in “Breaking Dawn: Part 2,” the final film in the “Twilight” series.
Newly crowned Oscar champ Daniel Day-Lewis (“Lincoln“) is in third place, with one editor and 10% of users expecting him to add this award to his already crowded mantle. That translates into odds of 11 to 2.

Ben Affleck picked up a surprise nod for his performance in “Argo.” However, less than 5% of users expect him to win a popcorn bucket to put next to his Oscar for producing the Best Picture champ and he has odds of only 13 to 2.
Fans have the “Power of the Popcorn” in their hands with online voting continuing until hours before the April 14th kudocast.
