‘General Hospital’ predicted to lead Daytime Emmy nominations

Gold Derby surveyed a half dozen experts, our editors and hundreds of users to predict the Daytime Emmy nominations, which will be announced on Wednesday.

As a whole, we expect “General Hospital” to lead with 15 nominations while “The Young and the Restless” should pick up 13 bids. (Click here to see predicted nominations and wins per category.)

And we predict that “General Hospital” will win four races when these awards are handed out on June 15, including Best Series for the 12th time. That would extend its record over “Y&R” which has prevailed seven times.
