When nominations were first announced on July 18, “The Big Bang Theory” and “Louie” had initial support. That has waned over the past two months as no single threat has emerged to take on the three-time champ. If “Modern Family” does prevail again, it would join “All in the Family,” “Cheers,” and “The Dick Van Dyke Show” as the only other four-time winners in this category. “Frasier” is the all-time king with five victories.
Currently, it leads the experts’ predictions with 3 to 10 odds over “Louie” at 12 to 1. “The Big Bang Theory” and “30 Rock” are tied in third place at 14 to 1. “Veep” is listed at 50 to 1. The last slot is held by “Girls” at 100 to 1. See full odds rundown here.
