Despite some of the surprise inclusions and snubs, one of our users — RStack — correctly predicted 84% of the nominees while another — Ryan_Fernand — foresaw 82% of the contenders. They outpaced all our experts and editors.

Our savviest expert was David Sheward (Theater Life) who scored 81%.

He was followed by a trio of pro pundits — Michael Musto (Village Voice), Brian Lipton (Theatermania) and Wayman Wong (NY Daily News) — who all got 79%.

Right behind them with 78% were another trio: Thom Geier (EW), Paul Sheehan (Gold Derby) and Matt Windman (amNY).

Four of our experts — Melissa Bernardo (EW), Harry Haun (Playbill), Andy Humm (Gay USA) and Tom O’Neil (Gold Derby) — scored 76%.

Doug Strassler (NY Press) came in at 73% as did editor David Schnelwar. Both Martin Denton (NY Theatre) and editor Daniel Montgomery got 70% while editor Chris Beachum was at 60%.
