A murder, a car accident, and several broken hearts make up this year’s Video of the Year nominees at the ACM Awards, but it’s a low-key Kacey Musgraves who leads a labor uprising who has the lead: her “Blowin’ Smoke” gets 8/11 odds from our predictors.
But we may be underestimating Miranda Lambert (“Mama’s Broken Heart“), who ranks last with 100/1 odds. Not only did “Broken Heart” earn Music Video nominations at the American Country Awards and CMA Awards, Lambert is also a two-time ACM winner for Video of the Year: for “White Liar” (2009) and “The House That Built Me” (2010).
