The team of “Fargo” made like Lorne Malvo and quietly took out its competition one by one at the 4th Annual Critics Choice TV Awards, snagging prizes, as Gold Derby predicted, for Best Miniseries and Best Actor in a Movie/Mini (Billy Bob Thornton) plus one we didn’t foresee: Best Supporting Actress for Allison Tolman.
Gold Derby caught up with Tolman on the red carpet and asked her how she felt about her character, Deputy Molly Solverson, not getting a good-guy-vs.-bad-guy ending: “Yeah, I wish I had an awesome shoot-’em-up scene,” she said. “Then I had to remember that was my ego and not Molly’s and she wouldn’t care.”
“Fargo” creators Warren Littlefield and Noah Hawley say with the reception they’ve received, they could go for a season two.
“We could be convinced to go back and freeze our ass off again – yes,” Littlefield said. “When we asked Hawley if the same cast would return for a second season, he was quick to answer: “I don’t think we’ve settled on it yet.”
