“I think The Marshall Tucker Band’s ‘Can’t You See’ worked really good for me and ‘Gravity’ by John Mayer. I think those two were probably two of my strongest performances of the year,” recalled “American Idol” cast-off C.J. Harris to our own Tom O’Neil during Friday’s webchat.
Do you agree with C.J. that those were his best performances on the show? Vote in our poll below for your favorite C.J. performance.
On “American Idol,” C.J. sang close to two dozen hits throughout the competition, starting with his audition song “Soulshine” and ending with the two songs from Rock/Country Week that got him eliminated: “American Woman” and “Whatever It Is.”
C.J. also got to perform two duets during the live rounds — “Alright” with Dexter Roberts during Top 8 Week (Part 1) and “I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)” with Malaya Watson during Top 8 Week (Part 2) — as well as last week’s trio “Compass” with Dexter and Jessica Meuse.
Now that C.J. is out, what singer do you think will win Season 13 now?
