‘American Idol’ poll: What was YOUR favorite Malaya Watson performance?

During Friday’s webchat, “American Idol” cast-off Malaya Watson told our editor Tom O’Neil that her favorite performance on the show was her farewell song “I Am Changing” by Jennifer Hudson.

In case you missed it, that was the performance that brought judge Jennifer Lopez — and Malaya herself — to tears on the live results show Thursday night.

Do you agree with Malaya’s choice? Was “I Am Changing” really her best performance? Vote in our poll below!

“I mean, like ‘I Am Changing’ from yesterday, not actually changing,” Malaya explained during the video interview. “It was very touching. So I like that one the most.” Watch the entire webchat below.

On “American Idol,” Malaya sang close to two dozen hits throughout the competition, beginning with her audition song “Ain’t No Way” and ending with the song that got her eliminated, “Through the Fire.”

She also got to perform two duets during the live rounds, including one with Sam Woolf last week (“Lucky”) and another with C.J. Harris this week (“I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)”).

For the record, my personal favorite Malaya moment came during Top 10 week when she sang “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars. And Tom was most impressed by her Top 9 week rendition of “The Long and Winding Road” by The Beatles.
