Part one of ‘DWTS’ finale ends in shocking elimination — hurry and predict Tuesday night’s winner!

Did you see that coming? Part one of the “Dancing With the Stars” finale ended with one of the season’s most surprising eliminations. Only four of our users predicted all of tonight’s outcomes: MrFilmkritik, Nate, Mike Warren, and kiiwiih.

Could conservative fans push Sadie Robertson to upset win on ‘DWTS’?

They correctly forecast the resurgence of Alfonso Ribeiro, who struggled last week after injuring himself, but was able to deliver two perfect dances in a row this week: the first a reprise of his week-one jive, and the second a showstopping freestyle number that included an homage to his tap-dancing Broadway roots.

But they also foresaw the downfall of Bethany Mota. The online star came to “DWTS” as a social-media powerhouse, with as passionate following on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. She also had the benefit of pro partner Derek Hough, the show’s all-time biggest champ with five previous mirror ball trophy wins. She was eliminated despite finishing second in the judges’ scores last week, and she also posted the lowest score of the night thanks mostly to an early mishap with the set that threw off her timing.

Those results stumped our top users. Alokin remains the highest scorer on the overall leaderboard despite being taken by surprise: he was predicting Mota would win the season and get the night’s highest score. Meanwhile, third-place user Denton thought it would be Sadie Robertson sent home, but she was likely buoyed by her conservative fan base. Rounding out our top five users, Cordell Martin and Ryan Lapierre  thought Janel Parrish was a goner.

The final scores going into Tuesday night’s grand finale are as follows:

Alfonso Ribeiro – 80
Sadie Robertson – 78
Janel Parrish – 77
