Meryl Davis and Charlie White won Olympic gold in Sochi for their ballroom dance-inspired figure skating routines, so it’s no surprise they’ve thrived as celebrity contestants on “Dancing With the Stars.” White has posted the top judges’ score for the first two weeks in a row, and this week Davis tied him at the top of the leader board.
They’re at the top of our racetrack odds too, but it’s Davis who has the advantage there: our Users give her 10/9 odds to win the mirror ball trophy, while White is not far behind with 9/5 odds. Can anyone challenge them?
Actress/mathematician Danica McKellar is their closest competition with 3/1 odds, while Paralympic athlete Amy Purdy sits fourth with 14/1 odds. Both women scored 24 out of 30 from judges this week, on par with their first performances.
After his show-stopping salsa Monday night, James Maslow has improved to 16/1 odds. He actually tied Davis and White as the highest-scoring contestant, receiving 25 out of 30 from judges – a four-point improvement from last week.
