‘Young and the Restless’ cast reaps 11 Daytime Emmy nominations, ‘General Hospital’ 8

Of the leading 26 Daytime Emmy Awards nominations for “The Young and the Restless,” 11 of them are for cast members, including a staggering four of the five Best Actor nominees.

And despite General Hospital reaping eight acting nominations, it was passed over for Best Drama Series in favor of the online edition of “One Life to Live” which merited only one acting bid.
