Here’s an exclusive sneak peek at the NBC Universal 2014 Emmy campaign

In a Gold Derby exclusive, NBC Universal has provided their Emmy Awards campaign for 2014 with category placements.

Their biggest new comedy might well be “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” which won Golden Globes in January as Best Comedy Series and for lead actor Andy Samberg. Fox actually airs the program although produced by Universal. Other new laffers are “About a Boy” (Minnie Driver, David Walton) and “Growing Up Fisher” (J.K. Simmons, Jenna Elfman).

At last year’s Emmys, NBC/Universal had nominations for Vera Farmiga (“Bates Motel“) and Amy Poehler (“Parks and Recreation“). Other strong possibilities from returning shows are Mariska Hargitay (“Law and Order SVU”), Mindy Kaling (“The Mindy Project“), and Monica Potter (“Parenthood“).

The network also has big ratings winner “The Sound of Music” competing in the Special Class category and its performers in the movie/miniseries acting slots. And don’t forget about the upcoming telefilm “Rosemary’s Baby” with Zoe Saldana.
