  1. Andrew is correct 🙂 Kate Heburn won her 4th lead Best Actress that year. She hasn’t been nominated since. At the time she waas the Actor with the most nominations at 12. Amazing fete for the time..Since then of course Meryl Streep has beat her record with 15 Best Actress nominations (so far) and 3 additional supporting nods to have a career total of 18 Oscar nominations. Her record speaks for itself. Btw…Meryl was favored to win for her first lead role in French Lieutenant’s Woman but lost to the Veteran Katharine. She won anyway the following year for one of her best roles EVER in ‘Sophie’s Choice’.
