30 Oscar Experts all predict ‘Frozen’ to win Best Animated Feature

All 30 Oscar experts polled by Gold Derby are predicting “Frozen” to win Best Animated Feature, giving it 1/10 odds

Several Disney-Pixar productions have won the category, but this would be the first film from Walt Disney Animation Studios to do so. Last year, Disney came close when their “Wreck-It Ralph” was splitting awards throughout the season with Pixar’s “Brave,” but it was “Brave” that got the academy’s vote.

This year, however, “Frozen” has consistently dominated the animation field, winning at the Golden Globes, BAFTAs, Annie Awards, Critics’ Choice Awards, and PGA Awards, while the Pixar pic “Monsters University,” wasn’t even nominated by the academy.

Following far behind are “The Wind Rises” with 33/1 odds, “Despicable Me 2” and “The Croods” with 50/1 odds, and “Ernest and Celestine,” ranked last with 100/1 odds.
