Our wish list for Oscars: Sandra Bullock, Leo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence …

If you could make a wish for this Oscar weekend for any one or two winners to magically walk on stage, who would they be?

In a new photo gallery below, each of our Gold Derby editors was granted two wishes for this Sunday’s Academy Awards. Not surprisingly, there is very little agreement in the Best Picture race, where three of the nine films (“Gravity,” “Philomena“, and “12 Years a Slave“) are dreams come true.

Among the acting winners we would like to see are Sandra Bullock (“Gravity”), Bruce Dern (“Nebraska“), Leonardo DiCaprio (“The Wolf of Wall Street“), Jennifer Lawrence (“American Hustle“), Julia Roberts (“August: Osage County“), and June Squibb (“Nebraska”).

Take a tour through our Oscar wish list photo gallery below to find out all 14 of our picks and read why we chose each one.

Also, be sure to make your final predictions (or change them now) for winners in all 24 categories in our predictions center.

  1. Jennifer’s acting was so affected and ostentacious in this bland movie no wonder she would stand out. She doesn’t deserve it at all. Lupita gave us power!

  2. Amen to “Gravity” winning Best Picture and Sandra Bullock winning Best Actress. Perhaps if Sandra had campaigned harder she could have over taken Cate. If “12 Years A Slave” wins Best Picuture it will just be the Academy awarding more of the same type of film they have rewarded in the past. “Gravity” is truly unique, progressive and different. “Its Time.’

  3. Sally Hawkins blew me away in Blue Jasmine. It was a very measured, controlled, and ultimately heartbreaking performance of a woman who really has no ability to choose her own direction. I absolutely loved this performance.

  4. Amy Adams is my wish to walk up on stage this Sunday. She gives a home run performance. This is her 5th nomination. Also, David O. Russell should win for American Hustle. He adapted Silver Linings Playbook marvelously which was robbed as Best Picture last year just because Ben for overlooked as Best Director for Argo.

  5. No Gravity doesnt deserve Best Picture. It should be 12 Years A Slave. Take away Gravity’s special effects and you can see there is no storyline. Everyone in the Best Actress category deserves it except for Catr Blanchett. Leo needs to win. Amy Adams needs to win. Jennifer Lawrence will lose and hopefully Lupita triumphs or Julia Roberts.
