In “The Fault in Our Stars,” Woodley portrays Hazel Grace Lancaster, a teenager with terminal thyroid cancer who is forced to attend a support group where she meets and falls for a boy named Gus (Ansel Elgort). The film got an impressive 80% critics’ score at Rotten Tomatoes and was a huge hit, opening at number 1 in the box office and grossing over $300 million worldwide. This marks a bumper year for Woodley who also starred in the science fiction action film “Divergent” that also opened at number 1, in March.
