‘The Amazing Race’ contest: Did you predict that photo finish?

While you predicted that cowboys Cord and Jet would win this seventh leg of “The Amazing Race,” being at the back of the plane that took them from Sri Lanka to Rome gave those teams at the front a headstart.

Of these three, Brendon and Rachel surprised even themselves with their first place finish (you had them in fourth where the cowboys ended up). And country duo Jennifer and Caroline overcame the Speed Bump imposed on them due to their last place finish in the previous non-elimination leg to take second. They arrived at the mat at the same time as father and son cancer survivors Dave and Connor who let the ladies go first.

The other three teams struggled with deciphering the clue that sent them to the Spanish Steps. When they finally got there, dousins Leo and Jamal did a good turn that could have been costly as they gave both Flight Time and Big Easy and John and Jessica the answer to the roadblock, thinking that there was at least one team further back.

However, it turned out there wasn’t and, in a footrace to the finish, the Harlem Globetrotters edged out the engaged couple as you predicted.
