The absolutely critical battle rounds begin tonight on “The Voice.” Each of the four coaches also turn into judges as they pit their own artists against each other. They then determine who will move on to the next round.
Of the coaching quartet, pop star Adam Levine (Maroon 5) and country singer Blake Shelton continue on the NBC reality program for their seventh straight season. Levine won the very first season of the show, then lost to Shelton, then rallied again to win the fifth season.
Usher prevailed last spring for the sixth cycle but he is no longer on the show. First-timers Gwen Stefani (No Doubt) and reigning Producer of the Year Grammy champ Pharrell Williams have recently joined the action.
Each of the four has selected a dozen contenders for their teams. Beginning tonight, these hopefuls face off to either move on, be knocked out, or possibly even be saved by another coach.
Over the past few days, we have been profiling each team and offering you a poll to determine who will be able to steer their best artist to victory during this seventh season. Click each link below to read the summaries and make your predictions.
