‘The Walking Dead’ predictions: Carol, Carl or Rick will die next!

It’s hard to believe, but there are only two episodes left of “The Walking Dead‘s” highly addictive fourth season.

Is the Grim Reaper is about to pay another visit to the main cast?

You’ve been voting in droves for who you think will die next on the AMC blockbuster, and the early results are in!

With 3/2 odds, your current prediction is that none of the main characters will be killed off this season. Perhaps losing Hershel and The Governor during the fall finale has you convinced that all of the other series regulars are safe. Either that, or you’re simply too nervous to even contemplate the possibility of losing yet another one of your favorites.

Among the seven main characters whose actors are listed in the opening credits, your first place pick to be killed off is Carol (Melissa McBride) with 4/1 odds. Carol’s had a rocky year for sure, having murdered no less than three fellow humans — including a little girl! — over the season. Sure, Carol always has a good excuse for committing such violent acts, but has she truly been forgiven for what she’s done in the past?

The main character with the next best odds to die is young Carl (Chandler Riggs) with 6/1 odds. After the prison massacre in the fall finale, all of the survivors were left scattered and Carl looked to be in a terrible position. But now that his father has recovered from his injuries and Michonne has joined their group, Carl appears to be in much better shape. But anything can happen on the road to Terminus.

Your third place prediction is actually a shocker: Carl’s father Rick (Andrew Lincoln) with 13/2 odds. Rick took a major beating from The Governor earlier in the season, but he seems to be on the right track now with his health and his son. It seems rather unlikely that the producers of “The Walking Dead” would actually kill their most important character, but crazier things have happened… right?

As for the remaining four series regulars, the next likeliest to be killed off is Glenn (Steven Yeun) with 7/1 odds, followed by Maggie (Lauren Cohan) in fifth place with 11/1 odds, Daryl (Norman Reedus) in sixth place with 12/1 odds, with Michonne (Danai Gurira) being the least-likeliest to die with 33/1 odds.

In addition to which main character will be killed off, we also want your predictions on several other questions, including:

Which recurring character will be killed off next?

How many walkers will die in this episode?

Will Rick and/or Carl fire a gun in this episode?

Will Daryl shoot his crossbow in this episode?

Will Michonne swing her katana in this episode?

Will Glenn and Maggie be reunited in this episode?

Will there be any flashbacks in this episode?

Who will arrive first at Terminus?

Whoever has the most points correct at the end of Season Four will win a $100 Amazon gift card.

The next hour of “The Walking Dead” is titled “Us” and airs tonight on AMC. Written by Nichole Beattie and Seth Hoffman and directed by Greg Nicotero, AMC’s cryptic description of the penultimate episode is: “However brutal some survivors believe they must be to stay alive, we get to see that faith can sometimes be the strongest survival tool.” (Watch AMC’s trailer below.)

  1. Rick and Carl are safe. They are still alive in the comics. I don’t see them killing off a character that is still alive in the comics. That would be dangerous, because they might play vital roles in the show.

  2. Carol should die cause carl and Rick work hard to keep the gang safe plus I personally love glenn and carl they are my life and u just love them….so
