Tony Awards performance: Fantasia, Gladys Knight and Patti LaBelle join ‘After Midnight’ cast (Video)

The musical revue “After Midnight” tells the story of Harlem’s Cotton Club with a blend of song and dance. Part of the continued appeal of this toe-tapping tuner, which reaped seven Tony nominations including Best Musical, is the revolving parade of guest stars. 

Three of these — “American Idol” winner Fantasia and R&B divas Gladys Knight and Patti LaBelle — joined the cast for a performance of that took the roof off Radio City Music Hall. Those slick moves by the dancers, joined by kudocast host Hugh Jackman, earned choreographer Warren Carlyle a Tony.
