“Caryl” fans around the globe are breathing a sigh of relief Sunday night, as the most recent episode of “The Walking Dead” that focused on Carol (Melissa McBride) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) kept both characters alive and ready to fight (and hook up) another day. Did you accurately predict the answers to our prediction contest questions for Episode 6, titled “Consumed”?
According to Gold Derby’s exclusive racetrack odds, our readers gave Carol 10/1 odds of being killed off next, followed by Daryl with 12/1 odds of dying. Since nobody met the grim reaper in this episode, that means all of the users who predicted “No One” would die earned points based on those correct predictions.
Congratulations to the 30 site users who correctly predicted 100% of this week’s “Walking Dead” questions. But special kudos go to Max, who got a perfect 100% score on our Episode 6 leaderboard and reaped the most points this week (2,422) thanks to locking in the best odds at the right time. This user correctly predicted all seven questions:
1.) No main characters would die
2.) No recurring characters would die
3.) Daryl would use his crossbow
4.) More than 10 walkers would die
5.) Rick and Carl would not use their guns
6.) Glenn and Maggie would kiss
7.) Michonne would not use her katana

To vote for who think will be killed off next on “Walking Dead,” drag characters over from the left to the right and arrange them in your predicted order. For example, if you think Carol will be killed off next, make sure you put her in first place. You can continue to update and change your predictions throughout the week, just click “Save Predictions” when you’ve settled on your choice.
Every time someone logs their predictions, the racetrack odds of the contestants are automatically updated. If the majority of users think Carol will die, that means she’ll have the best odds and will go to the front of the pack. Conversely, the characters who don’t receive many votes have the worst odds and will go to the bottom of the pile.
The standard bet for each question is 100 points, which are wagered against the odds you locked in when you saved your predictions. However, for each TV episode you are given one special 200 point bet that you can use strategically to gain more points.
Here’s how racetrack odds work: If you bet 100 on something that has 50/1 odds and you end up being correct, you will receive 50 x 100 points, which equals 5,000 points. You’ll also get your original 100 points back, for a total of 5,100 points.
Get started by making your prediction as to which of the remaining “Walking Dead” main characters will die next using our easy drag-and-drop menu below our recent Q&A with Reedus. And be sure to sound off on the current season in Gold Derby’s TV forum.
