Based on AMC’s cryptic sneak peek of Sunday’s all-new episode of “The Walking Dead” (which you can watch below), it looks like we’ll finally get some answers on what happened to Beth (Emily Kinney) after her kidnapping at the end of last season.
And according to Gold Derby’s exclusive racetrack odds, her return to the series may also bring about her demise, as Beth has 9/1 odds of dying next. Our readers think she could very well follow in the deadly footsteps of both Bob and Gareth, who met the grim reaper last week.
Even though Beth looks to be the focus of Episode 4, titled “Slabtown,” our readers also think that Carol (Melissa McBride) has a good shot of being killed off next. They give Carol 7/1 odds of dying, just ahead of “no one” dying with leading 27/10 odds.

Every time someone logs their predictions, the racetrack odds of the contestants are automatically updated. If the majority of users think Beth will die, that means she’ll have the best odds and will go to the front of the pack. Conversely, the characters who don’t receive many votes have the worst odds and will go to the bottom of the pile.
The standard bet for each question is 100 points, which are wagered against the odds you locked in when you saved your predictions. However, for each TV episode you are given one special 200 point bet that you can use strategically to gain more points.
Here’s how racetrack odds work: If you bet 100 on something that has 50/1 odds and you end up being correct, you will receive 50 x 100 points, which equals 5,000 points. You’ll also get your original 100 points back, for a total of 5,100 points.
