You can now predict the winners at the 2015 American Music Awards in all 23 categories, including Artist of the Year, where Taylor Swift hopes to make history against defending champs One Direction. Use our drag-and-drop menu at the bottom of this post to start making your picks.
Swift holds the record for Artist of the Year with three victories. She won in 2009, 2011 and 2013. In fact, she's never lost the award when nominated, and she leads this years AMAs with six nominations total, also including Song of the Year ("Blank Space"), Pop/Rock Female Artist and Pop/Rock Album ("1989"). Will she extend her record?
She'll have to get past the defending champs, the British boy band One Direction, who are so popular with fans that they won every award they were nominated for in 2013 and 2014 – five total, including consecutive victories for Pop/Rock Album and Pop/Rock Duo or Group.
But this isn't just a two-way race. There are 10 nominees overall. Those will be narrowed down to the final five on November 11 based on fan votes, and the ultimate winner will be crowned on November 22 in a ceremony to be broadcast live on ABC and hosted by Jennifer Lopez.
Right behind Swift with five nominations apiece are Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd, both of whom also face off against Swift for Song of the Year. Meghan Trainor, Sam Smith and Nicki Minaj have three nominations each. And Luke Bryan, Ariana Grande, and Maroon 5 have two.
