“In a squeaker, I’m gonna say Clark Beckham will still win,” says our current “American Idol” contest champ JB. “Of course, I reserve the right to change my bet Tuesday night!” Hurry — make or update your own predictions for the Season 14 finale and you could win our prize of a $100 Amazon gift certificate. It’s fun and easy, so start now by scrolling down and predicting who will win. Voting closes Tuesday at 6 p.m. PT.
JB tells us, “I have to say, I never thought going into the Top 3 that anyone but Clark would win. However, at this point, I think our frontrunner is now fighting to make the finale as all three have a good shot.
“I’d actually like to see it be Jax vs. Nick now. It does seems that Nick has finally surged forward and just might be the one to beat. We haven’t had a guy-guy finale since Season 8 (Adam Lambert vs. Kris Allen) and that may just happen again. For the first time all season, I’m kinda at a loss for what will happen, and that is exciting.
“As for the judges, Jennifer Lopez has been the standout this season by far. I do like the panel but Harry Connick Jr. needs to get over himself. The season started strong but faltered as it went along, especially with the one-show-a-week elimination mess. The producers should’ve let everyone perform each week and do the elimination at the end.
“I’d put Season 14 in the bottom three seasons along with last year and Season 9, which is still the worst. My favorite moment was Tyanna Jones‘ ‘Stay’ and my least favorite moment was when the judges saved Qaasim Middleton and the whole Harry vs. Quentin Alexander crap.”

Can YOU beat these frontrunners to win our prizes? Then be sure to take part in our “American Idol” prediction contest. We’re giving away $100 Amazon gift certificates to our weekly winners plus at season’s end. The deadline for the season finale is Tuesday at 6 p.m. PT.
Our current overall leader JB correctly predicted Rayvon’s ouster this week. However, he missed calling Tyanna’s elimination in Top 5 Week (see complete predix), proving that it’s possible to do well in our contests without getting everything right.
Remember that coming out on top doesn’t just mean answering that week’s questions correctly. You also have to use your three big bets (500 points and two of 200 points) strategically to score the most game points. If you bet on a longshot who pulls off an upset, you can really rack up the points, so don’t take them for granted.
