With the Idol Fan Save no longer in contention, will Rayvon Owen be sent home tonight on “American Idol“? Or might we be in for an elimination shocker in the form of Tyanna Jones? Hurry — make your predictions and you could win our prize of a $100 Amazon gift certificate. It’s fun and easy, so start now by scrolling down and predicting who will be eliminated next.
For tonight’s Top 5 Week results, our readers are once again predicting that it’ll be lights out for Rayvon, who tops our elimination chart with odds of 4/7. Tyanna comes in second place with 11/2 odds, and then Nick Fradiani is in third place at 8/1. See complete predictions for Top 5 Week.
In fourth place, our users predict that No One will go home (33/1 odds), followed by the season’s two frontrunners: Jax in fifth place with odds of 50/1 and Clark Beckham in last place with 100/1 odds. Can ANYONE beat Clark for the win?
I side with the consensus this week that Rayvon will be eliminated next, however, I also can’t shake the feeling that we’re about due for an upset. In the event that he doesn’t go home, my #2 pick to get the boot is definitely Tyanna. She failed to impress with her two songs last week — “Party in the U.S.A.” and “Heaven” — and she could fall victim to the “have a bad night, go home” theory that we’ve seen countless times over the years.
If you go with Rayvon as your elimination prediction at 4/7 odds and you’re correct, you will only earn 57 points. However, if you predict Nick instead with your special 500 point super bet and you’re correct, your total will be much higher (4,000 points) because Nick’s 8/1 odds aren’t as good. This is where the strategy — and fun — comes into play here at Gold Derby when making your weekly predictions.

Where do you fall on our overall Season 14 leaderboard?
For the entire season so far, JB is still in first place with 63% prediction accuracy. As for his current predictions, JB tells us, “Clark is still far and away the frontrunner. He has it in the bag. At this point, it still feels like it’s going to be a Clark vs. Jax finale. Now, the race is for third and anyone could get there. I’d say Nick rose to third place for the first time after last week (not sure he can stay there).”
Next up on our leaderboard is Phoenix in second place with 58% accuracy, and then there’s a tie for third place with both Benutty and Denton at 54%. Click here to see where you score on our overall season leaderboard.
Can YOU beat these frontrunners to win our prizes? Then be sure to take part in our “American Idol” prediction contest. We’re giving away $100 Amazon gift certificates to our weekly winners plus at season’s end. The deadline for each episode is Wednesday at 5 p.m. PT.
Our current overall leader JB correctly predicted Quentin’s ouster this week and Qaasim Middleton‘s exit in Top 8 Week. However, he missed calling Joey Cook‘s elimination last week (see complete predix), proving that it’s possible to do well in our contests without getting everything right.
Remember that coming out on top doesn’t just mean answering that week’s questions correctly. You also have to use your three big bets (500 points and two of 200 points) strategically to score the most game points. If you bet on a longshot who pulls off an upset, you can really rack up the points, so don’t take them for granted.
To vote for who think will go home next on “American Idol,” drag contestants over from the left to the right and arrange them in your predicted order.
