"Big Brother" Season 17 came to a close Wednesday night with underdog Steve Moses winning the $500,000 grand prize instead of Gold Derby frontrunner Vanessa Rousso (who came in third place) or remaining twin Liz Nolan (the runner-up). Only a scarce 19% of our readers predicted Steve would win the season, but were YOU one of them?

Who will win 'Big Brother'? See exclusive predictions

According to exclusive "Big Brother" odds that are derived from the predictions made by users like you, Vanessa was the clear frontrunner with 4/7 odds (64% chance to win). She topped our chart every week this season except for a brief blip in Week 7 when our users momentarily thought that John McGuire would win and that Vanessa would be evicted. If YOU think Vanessa was robbed of the title, sound off in the comments section below.

Second place on our season finale winner's chart was Steve, who had 9/2 odds (19% chance to win), while Liz was in third place with 8/1 odds (11% chance to win).

In our "Big Brother" predictions center, we've been asking users like YOU to predict the ultimate winner all season long. Hundreds of users cast their votes, but only one claims Gold Derby's prize of a $100 Amazon gift certificate and eternal bragging rights: Frederic Lam.

Frederic answered every question this season and tops our overall Season 17 leaderboard with 90% prediction accuracy and 224,634 points. To see how this user was able to out-score the other hundreds of predictors, see his entire prediction history here.

We have a second prize to give away as well, as Benutty did the best at scoring the Season 17 finale. This user predicted that Steve would win, that Liz would be second, that Vanessa would be third, that John would be fourth and that Austin would be fifth. If eligible, as per our contest rules, he will also win a $100 Amazon gift certificate.

  1. She lost the most important round…she went on tilt. Steve let Vanessa do a lot of the generic dirty work. He did the dirty work that kept him safe. Steve won the final question and made another move in his best interests…Vanessa was out played by Steve. So sad too bad. Maybe Vanessa should have realized Steve was a major threat and not her puppy dog.

  2. I’m so disappointed in Vanessa, but I am HAPPY she made the full 98 days. It all came down to that final HOH and she didn’t deliver for herself. It sucks. I know her ego has to be hurting right now. I feel awful because I’ve been rooting for her ALL season! She was the clear winner to me! She deserved to win. Unfortunately, she didn’t win when it was pivotal for her to and, thus, her fate was left in someone else’s hands. But one thing is for sure, she helped those two get to the end with her. She DID control this game.
She’s the winner in my book! Will miss seeing her on TV. Love you, Vanessa!
