Congratulations to ny4carrie for an impressive top score of 82% predicting the 2015 CMA Awards winners on Wednesday night.
Hundreds of people worldwide predicted the CMA winners in 11 categories. Among our champ’s best picks were Chris Stapleton winning Album of the Year for “Traveller” and New Artist of the Year, and Little Big Town‘s “Girl Crush” taking Song of the Year.

For her efforts, ny4carrie wins a $100 Amazon gift card, pending Gold Derby evaluating her eligibility based upon our contest rules. She must meet eligibility requirements before prizes are awarded.
Among the predictor groups, our Editors, Top 24 Users (those two dozen folks who had done the best predicting last year’s winners) and All Users tied with 63.64% correct, down slightly from 66.67% for all groups last year. For our two Experts predicting these music awards, Gold Derby‘s own Paul Sheehan had a score of 64% correct, while Tom O’Neil scored 55%.
For our four Editors, I tied top User ny4carrie with 82%. Matt Noble followed with 64%. Marcus Dixon and Chris Beachum finished next at 55%.

In order to win, you must have the highest accuracy percentage – and maybe more than that. If more than one player has the best accuracy, the winner is the person with the highest accuracy plus most game points. So, remember to place your three super bets when making predictions.
