Looks like Paula Deen will be eliminated from “Dancing With the Stars” Monday night. The celebrity chef received the lowest score from judges last week. While its possible her fans will save her from the chopping block, readers taking part in our prediction contest believe the writing is on the wall: 62% say she’ll exit, giving her odds of 8/13. (Click here for their complete predictions for Monday night’s show.)
However, it’s very possible no one will be eliminated. Tonight is the “Switch Up” episode, in which the contestants will be paired with different pro dancers for one night only. So will any couple be eliminated, or will the stars be given the chance to reunite with their regular partners next week before one unlucky performer is ousted? 15% of our users say no one will go home, resulting in 11/2 odds for that scenario.
When it comes to predicting the winner this season, wildlife conservationist Bindi Irwin, who has gotten the top judges’ score three times already with Emmy-winning pro partner Derek Hough, continues to rise. She now gets odds of 4/7 based on support from 63% of those making predictions.
Alexa PenaVega continues to struggle in second place with 7/1 odds and support from 13% of predictors. That puts her just ahead of boy band member Nick Carter, who has odds of 9/1 and support from 10% of readers. Tamar Braxton is a distant fourth with 3% support and 33/1 odds despite consistently high scores so far.
