Rumer Willis stole the hearts of the judges on Monday’s premiere of “Dancing With the Stars” with her foxy foxtrot, scoring a leading 32 out of 40 points. And you overwhelmingly endorsed this result. An overwhelming 42% of you ranked Rumer as the top contestant on the night (Vote in the poll here.)
And your picks for the second and third place finishers also matched up with those of the judges. One-time “Glee” star Riker Lynch and his jive just edged out Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin and her foxtrot with both the professional panel (32 to 31 points) and you (16% vs 15%).
Of the rest of the contestants, two who tackled the cha-cha-cha — Robert Herjavec and Michael Sam — did relatively well with the judges and you ranking fourth and fifth respectively. And “The Bachelor” star Chris Soules was in the middle of the pack for his jive with both sets of numbers.
Not surprisingly, RedFoo, who is at the bottom of the leaderboard with 22 points for a cha-cha routine set to his own track “Juicy Wiggle,” is also in last place according to you.
