One Expert stands above all others when predicting the 2015 Daytime Emmy nominations — Michael Fairman (Michael Fairman Soaps). He is best among the eight Experts that we polled with 67% correct in forecasting this year’s contenders.
While many of this year’s Daytime Emmy nominees were expected, some on Fairman’s predictions list were considered longer shots. They include Peggy McCay (“Days of Our Lives“) and Lisa LoCicero (“General Hospital“) and Linsey Godfrey (“The Bold and the Beautiful“) for Best Supporting Actress.
Among our other eight Experts, the next best after Fairman is Dan Kroll (Soap Central) at 65% right.
Among the predictor groups, our Editors and Top 24 Users are best with 66.67% correct. Our Experts ae next with 63.89% right, followed by the overall Users at 61.11%. As Gold Derby Users just like you usually turn out to be our smartest prognosticators, it’s vital that you now give us your predictions. Make the best predictions and you could win our contest prize: $100 Amazon gift certificate and a place of honor in our famous leaderboards.
In order to win, you must have the highest accuracy percentage – and maybe more than that. If more than one player has the best accuracy, the winner is the person with the highest accuracy plus most game points. So, remember to place your three super bets when making predictions. Each player gets one super bet of 500 points and two of 200 points with all the other categories worth 100 points. Strategy is key. Place those super bets wisely and they could crown you our winner.
Get started by making your own predictions for Best Drama Series using our easy drag-and-drop menu found at the bottom of this post.
