The top studio at the Golden Globes is 20th Century Fox, which racked up 12 nominations. That total doesn’t even include the three bids for specialty division Fox Searchlight. Following close behind Fox are Universal and the Weinstein Company, both with eight noms apiece.

Golden Globes 2015: Complete list of nominations

Fox’s nominations are spread between five films. It scored the most for “The Revenant,” which contends for four awards including Best Drama Picture and Best Drama Actor (Leonardo DiCaprio). But Fox actually boasts three out of the five nominees for Best Comedy/Musical Picture: “The Martian” (three total nominations), “Joy” (2 nominations) and “Spy” (2 nominations). The studio’s last bid was for “The Peanuts Movie” for Best Animated Feature.

Four of Universal’s eight nominations are for “Steve Jobs,” which contends for its screenplay, score and the performances of star Michael Fassbender and supporting actress Kate Winslet. The studio scored two more nominations for “Trainwreck“: Best Comedy/Musical Picture and Best Comedy/Musical Actress (Amy Schumer). Rounding out its total are a pair of songwriting bids for “Fifty Shades of Grey” (“Love Me Like You Do“) and “Furious 7” (“See You Again“).

Weinstein’s haul is powered by “Carol,” the most nominated film this year with five, including Best Drama Picture and Best Drama Actress (both Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara). The studio’s other Globes contender is “The Hateful Eight” with three nominations, for its screenplay, score and supporting actress Jennifer Jason Leigh.
