Missing from the list of Golden Globe film nominations were some notable stars in red-hot awards contenders, including Johnny Depp (“Black Mass“), Tom Hanks (“Bridge of Spies“), both Michael Keaton and Mark Ruffalo (“Spotlight“) and director David O. Russell (“Joy“). And let’s not forget Meryl Streep (“Ricki and the Flash“). Despite having the most competitive Golden Globes win ever, she wasn’t nominated for Best Comedy/Musical Actress.
