Poll: Does Lady Gaga make you want to check into ‘AHS: Hotel’?

Lady Gaga American Horror Story Hotel Emmys entertainment 13579086 story

So, Lady Gaga is making her dramatic television debut on “Hotel,” the next installment of the “American Horror Story” franchise. Creator Ryan Murphy says she is terrifying. My fear is that he is referring to the quality of her acting. Can she come anywhere near to equalling Jessica Lange — who is leaving after four seasons — in making our blood run cold?

Our forums, which are filled with Hollywood insiders, have been debating this question. Below, just a sample of their caustic comments. If you dare, jump into the debate HERE.

And be sure to both vote in our poll about the addition of Lady Gaga to the cast as well as the Emmy chances of three of the “Freak Show” actresses.

SuiGeneris: I like Gaga as a music artists, but her acting is not something I’m checking for. No, she can’t equal Jessica. Luckily, there are other characters on the show that I can watch for.

TomHardys: Lady Gaga will never match the integrity and excellence of La Lange but she doesn’t need to. She just needs to be creepy and decent and she’ll be good.

KylieistBoi: So far Murphy, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson and Matt Bomer praised her acting.

Paulson and Bates are two of the three featured players on “American Horror Story: Freak Show” nominated for Best Movie/Mini Supporting Actress along with Angela Bassett.
