For this year’s ceremony, there were upsets in five of the six categories based on our rankings and odds. While “Birdman” was an expected winner for Sound Editing Music, “American Sniper” was a slight surprise for Sound Editing Effects Foley and “Unbroken” was a shocker for Sound Editing Dialogue ADR.

Tariq Khan (Fox News) was our best Expert with 34% correct in his picks. Paul Sheehan (Gold Derby), and Peter Travers (Rolling Stone) had 17% scores.

Rob Licuria and I topped the Editors with 34% accuracy. Daniel Montgomery and Marcus Dixon, were next with 17% right.
