At a recent Emmy event in Los Angeles for Netflix hit series “Orange is the New Black,” Taylor Schilling, who scored a Best Comedy Actress nomination last year for her role as Piper Chapman, chats with Gold Derby on the red carpet.
“That kind of stuff, it scares me so much,” she admits about the possibility of choosing an episode to submit to Emmy judges. As for the show’s immense popularity, she says, “It feels so powerful. The beautiful energy of the fans really feed all of us and then the show is helpful for them so it’s a great feedback with everybody supporting each other.”
