Jim Nowakowski was our frontrunner to win "So You Think You Can Dance" for the first two weeks of live shows, but now Jaja Vankova is on top according to our latest predictions. As of this writing, she leads with 14/5 odds based on support from 26% of users. Nowakowski has slipped to second place with 3/1 odds and support from 25% of users, while Virgil Gadson has 4/1 odds and 21% of users behind him. Do you agree that Jaja is the contestant to beat?
23-year-old Vankova hails from the Czech Republic and represents Team Street. But this isn't her first time on "SYTYCD." She actually auditioned for the show in 2014, but missed out on a spot in the top 20. This season, however, she has been a consistent audience favorite, so not only did she make the top 20, she has just sailed through to the top 10, even though her hip-hop routine with Edson Juarez on Monday night divided the usually effusive judges.
Check out the graph below which charts Vankova's upward trajectory this season (click on it for more stats), then watch her performance with Juarez at the bottom of this post and make your predictions using our drag-and-drop menu.
In our "So You Think You Can Dance" predictions center, you get to answer the following questions each week:
Which STAGE dancer will be eliminated?
Which STREET dancer will be eliminated?
Which STAGE dancer will be in the bottom but safe?
Which STREET dancer will be in the bottom but safe?
Who will win 'So You Think You Can Dance'?
At the end of each week, the eligible user with the highest prediction accuracy and most points will win a $100 Amazon gift certificate, so it's beneficial to keep coming back often and making/updating your predictions.
