  1. If Mad Max had been as Unoriginal, insultingly cheap, and nihilistic as Star Wars: The Failed Awakening, would it have made more of the Editors lists?!

Great job Tom, Daniel, and Zack for not having that cinematic excrement on your lists, regardless of whether or not you liked it or didn’t.

Also, Great job Tom O’ Neil for the well-deserved shout-out to Trumbo’s awesomeness! Glad to hear I’m not the only one who LOVED it! 🙂

  2. “Joy is one of the worst movies of the year. How can most of them like Joy and not Mad Max. LOL”
Jupiter Ascending, Fantastic Four, Entourage, Vacation, Fifty Shades of Grey, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Pointbreak, Love the Coopers, Rock the Kabasch, Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension, The Last Witch Hunter were all by far and away worse than Joy

  3. Awful to see Joy represented so many times. Even if you’re a diehard Russell fan, how on Earth could you put it so high on your list in such a great year for films? It’s definitely not “the worst of the year,” but come on. Glad to see the Star Wars love, though! (And come on, The Good Dinosaur? Pixar’s second worst film ever.)

  4. Hunter, It’s Because Gold Derby’s Has Overrated Joy the whole year, and won’t let it die, until the final nail is the one nomination for actress that the Academy’s Going to give it

  5. I’m shocked you have Joy – its just not a good film. Someone had it twice- I hope thats a typo And she doesn’t deserve a best actress nod. Jobs- except for good acting- its also just not that good.
