Of the six “Survivor: Second Chance” castaways still in the running to win the $1 million prize on Wednesday night, our contest entrants thought that only three had a realistic shot to win: Jeremy Collins, Spencer Bledsoe and Kelley Wentworth. Which of these three frontrunners won Season 31 and who came up short at the final Tribal Council?
According to exclusive Gold Derby odds that were derived from the predictions made by contest entrants like you, firefighter Jeremy had overwhelming 5/4 odds to win the game, which ended up being correct.
Jeremy went to the Final 3 with Spencer and Tasha Fox and wound up receiving a record 10 votes to win at the live Tribal Council, compared to 0 votes for the other two. For the purposes of our prediction contest, that means Spencer and Tasha both tied for second and third place.
Kimmi’s ouster was monumental in that she was eliminated following an initial vote where two hidden immunity idols canceled out all of the votes, then a revote, then a deadlocked vote. All six players then had a roundtable discussion and agreed to eliminate Kimmi.
Only four of our contest entrants correctly predicted all questions for the season finale: Benutty, SamEckmann, me and Will Holston.
However, since Benutty earned the highest score of 55,070 points thanks to using his special 500 and 200 point bets wisely, he is our official top scorer for the season finale. If eligible, as per our contest rules, he will win a $100 Amazon gift certificate.
We have another prize to announce as well, as Eric123 earns the top score on our overall Season 31 leaderboard. Eric123 reaps an impressive 77% accuracy and 154,600 points predicting all of the questions this season. If eligible, as per our contest rules, he will also win a $100 Amazon gift certificate.
Second place on our overall leaderboard is Kaneki with 75% accuracy, followed by Jason Nolette with 73%, Taloson with 72% and Stephen ishBack with 69%.
“Survivor” may be over, but there are still many prediction contests to play at Gold Derby, including the Oscars, Golden Globes, SAG Awards, Critics’ Choice and so much more. Click here to start making your predictions right now.
