Who will win ‘Survivor: Worlds Apart’? See exclusive predictions

Last week, our users correctly predicted the elimination of Jenn Brown with 23% of the vote. Listen to our exit Q&A podcast with Jenn here, or scroll down to the bottom of this post.

As for tonight’s episode, titled “Survivor Russian Roulette,” our readers are setting their sights on Jenn’s partner-in-crime Shirin. She has leading 9/4 odds of being voted off, followed by Dan in second place with odds of 9/2, and then Tyler Fredrickson in third place at 13/2. See complete predictions for Episode 11.

I side with the consensus this week that Shirin will be eliminated next. However, in the event of an upset, my #2 choice is Mike Holloway. See my complete predictions.

After last week’s episode, it’s clear that Mike is on the outs with his former Blue Collar alliance. And while it’s true he has a hidden Immunity idol, our odds-makers still place Mike in fifth place (16/1 odds), just behind fourth-place Rodney Lavoie (10/1 odds).

If you go with Shirin as your elimination prediction at 9/4 odds and you’re correct, you will only earn 225 points. However, if you predict Mike instead with your special 500 point super bet and you’re correct, your total will be much higher (8,000 points) because Mike’s 16/1 odds aren’t as good. This is where the strategy — and fun — comes into play here at Gold Derby when making your weekly predictions.

Whose torch do you think will be snuffed next? Be sure to visit our predictions center and make/update your forecasts before voting closes Wednesday at 5 p.m. PT. The user with the highest prediction accuracy and most points will win a $100 Amazon gift certificate.

‘Survivor’ predictions: Tyler Fredrickson, Mike Holloway battle for the win

Where do you fall on our overall Season 30 leaderboard?

All season long, three users — Benutty, Smartdude, Taloson — have been battling it out for the top spot, and this week brings a tie for the highest prediction accuracy with Benutty and Smartdude both at 67%. However, Benutty’s point score (109,092) is higher than Smartdude’s (84,992) which is why he claims first place. Talk about a true nail-biter!

Taloson comes in third with 64%, followed by Sunhound in fourth place with 62% and JasonNolette in fifth place with 57%. Click here to see where you score on our overall season leaderboard.

Can YOU beat these frontrunners to win our prizes? Then be sure to take part in our “Survivor” prediction contest. We’re giving away $100 Amazon gift certificates to our weekly winners plus at season’s end. The deadline for each episode is Wednesday at 5 p.m. PT.

Our current overall leader Benutty predicted Joaquin Souberbielle‘s elimination back in Episode 6. However, he hasn’t forecasted any of the four eliminations since then (see complete predix), proving that it’s possible to do well in our contests without getting everything right.

Remember that coming out on top doesn’t just mean answering that week’s questions correctly. You also have to use your three big bets (500 points and two of 200 points) strategically to score the most game points. If you bet on a longshot who pulls off an upset, you can really rack up the points, so don’t take them for granted.

To vote for who think will go home next on “Survivor,” drag contestants over from the left to the right and arrange them in your predicted order. For example, if you think Shirin will be eliminated, make sure you put her in first place. You can continue to update and change your predictions throughout the week, just click “Save Predictions” when you’ve settled on your choice.
