“I’m not a victim,” says the latest “Survivor: Worlds Apart” castoff Shirin Oskooi during her exit interview with Gold Derby about why she denied Will Sims his letter from home last week (listen below). “You had people there like Mike, Jenn and Sierra who wanted to see me raise my hand. Me raising my hand instills pride in them [and] I won over all of their jury votes.” Hurry — make your predictions for next week’s episode and you could win our prize of a $100 Amazon gift certificate. It’s fun and easy, so start now by scrolling down and predicting who will be eliminated next.
Shirin delves deeper into her controversial decision, saying, “That guy did not deserve his letter. Everybody only had their letters in the first place because of me, including the people that I didn’t like. If I hadn’t brought up the $20 work-around [at the auction], then one or two people would have bid for their letters at like $400 and that would have been it. And so, quite frankly, it was my choice whether or not for him to get his letter because I’m the one who got everybody else their letters anyway. The right life move was not to award his abusive behavior.”
So, what’s her relationship with Will like today? “Nothing has been resolved and it’s an ongoing issue.”
When we inform Shirin that Jenn Brown called Will “evil” during her Q&A with Gold Derby, Shirin tells us, “I think it is the perfect word to describe him. I will say that was not the first time that he attacked me. It was just by far the biggest attack. There had been many blow-ups leading up to it. He was constantly questioning my integrity and telling people not to trust me and telling people I was a horrible person because I don’t have a soul. This word ‘soul’ and this concept of me not having one and therefore being able to treat me the way that he did … is dark and it comes from an evil place.”

She also has great advice for other fans looking to take the plunge and audition for the show.

Our current overall leader Smartdude predicted Joe’s elimination back in Episode 9. However, he missed calling the next two back-to-back ousters of Jenn and Shirin (see complete predix), proving that it’s possible to do well in our contests without getting everything right.
Remember that coming out on top doesn’t just mean answering that week’s questions correctly. You also have to use your three big bets (500 points and two of 200 points) strategically to score the most game points. If you bet on a longshot who pulls off an upset, you can really rack up the points, so don’t take them for granted.
