‘Survivor: Worlds Apart’ castoff So Kim reveals ‘heartbreak,’ secret alliances (Podcast)

“You can’t really sum up how you feel after something like that happens,” says “Survivor: Worlds Apart‘s” first castoff So Kim during our Q&A podcast (listen below). “Especially given the circumstances and everything that I feel like I’ve gone through to get there. It’s heartbreak. It’s opportunity lost. It’s a what-if, could-have, should-have, would-have.”

Why did So vote out Carolyn Rivera instead of Shirin Oskooi, who royally messed up that Immunity challenge? “What you don’t see on the episode is that Shirin and I actually had an alliance and I actually did show her the Idol clue when we got back at camp. I wanted to show her that she could trust me. So there’s a lot of intricacies of the different alliances that people weren’t aware of. I actually was straddling two different alliances.”

In our podcast, So also reveals that the castaways didn’t learn of the White Collar/Blue Collar/No Collar twist until Jeff Probst told them all on the beach, though she suspected something was awry on the initial truck ride. So also has no ill will toward Carolyn following their blow-up at Tribal Council, and she wishes that she could have had Dan Foley and Will Sims on her tribe to help lighten the mood.
