Kelly was actually ranked third in Gold Derby’s predictions to go home with 13/2 odds. If you predicted Kelly’s torch would be snuffed when she had those odds, you would have won 650 points. However, if you placed your special 500 point bet for that question at those odds, you would have netted a whopping 3,250 points. Kelly continues, “I thought I ran into a tree. I didn’t realize that thing fell on me. And I thought I was sweating. I didn’t realize that was blood coming down until I pulled the handkerchief up and I saw the blood on my shirt. At that point, you just worry about losing the challenge, we gotta win this challenge … It wasn’t as bad as it appeared.”

Regarding her elimination thanks to Jenn Brown using her hidden Immunity idol, Kelly admits, “I could have done different things. I could have made Jenn feel like I was with her. It was a personal thing with Jenn. She was mad because I didn’t keep up the friendship once we merged all together.”

‘Survivor: Worlds Apart’ predictions: 5 players who can actually win

Congrats to our user GOZacharyHardy for winning this week’s episode contest. This reader wins a $100 Amazon gift certificate for being the only user to reap 75% accuracy (see complete predix). His winning predictions were that Kelly would go home, that Joe Anglim would win the Immunity challenge and that a hidden Immunity idol would be played. He only missed out on predicting that No One would win the Reward challenge, instead forecasting Joe would prevail there. Check out GOZacharyHardy’s name at the top of this week’s episode leaderboard.

Where do you fall on our overall Season 30 leaderboard?

For the entire season so far, two of our users are tied with 68% accuracy, though they’re separated by their point scores: Smartdude is in first place with 77,238 points and Taloson is in second place with 21,743 points.

Just behind them in third place is last week’s episode winner Benutty with 64% accuracy, fourth place is CarlinhosFelipe with 61% accuracy, and there’s a tie for fifth place as both JasonNolette and GOZacharyHardy have 54% accuracy.

Can YOU beat these frontrunners to win our prizes? Then be sure to take part in our “Survivor” prediction contest. We’re giving away $100 Amazon gift certificates to our weekly winners plus at season’s end. The deadline for each episode is Wednesday at 5 p.m. PT.

Our current overall leader Smartdude missed out on calling the elimination of Joaquin Souberbielle last week, however he did accurately predict that Kelly would go home this week (see complete predix). Smartdude did so well at predicting previous “Survivor” episodes that he’s still our #1 reader to take down, proving that it’s possible to do well in our contests without getting everything right.

Remember that coming out on top doesn’t just mean answering that week’s questions correctly. You also have to use your three big bets (500 points and two of 200 points) strategically to score the most game points. If you bet on a longshot who pulls off an upset, you can really rack up the points, so don’t take them for granted.
