Brian Johnson – From Cleveland, OH. Brian’s been singing since he was a kid. In high school, his high voice allowed him to perform material in choir normally reserved for the girls. Brian performed music in college, but when his father was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis he had to put his dreams on hold in order to focus on supporting his family. His audition song was “Reason to Believe.”

Brooke Adee – From Tampa, FL. When Brooke was six years old, her dad took her to see “Annie” and she was instantly hooked. Brooke has been in all of her school plays and choirs and even penned her first song in fifth grade. When her mom was diagnosed with lupus, the family moved to Florida for treatment. Through her grandmother, she was recently featured in a music video with Internet sensation MattyBRaps. Her audition song was “Skinny Love.”

Cody Wickline – From Beckley, WV. Cody is a true country boy from the mountains of West Virginia. His grandfather, a coal miner, taught Cody about the classics like Waylon Jennings and George Jones. Although he hoped to pursue a music career, Cody’s parents encouraged him to make school his priority, and he is the first in his family to attend college. His audition song was “He Stopped Loving Her Today.”

Corey Kent White – From Bixby, OK. Corey may be young, but he’s been performing a long time. When he was only 11, Corey was asked to be the frontman for a Western swing band, touring for five years. Recently, Corey’s grandfather took him to a Willie Nelson concert where Willie chose him out of the crowd to join him on stage and sing. It was a defining experience for him, and in that moment Corey knew music was his calling. His audition song was “Chicken Fried.”

Kelsie May – From Louisa, KY. Kelsie performed for the first time in front of a crowd just last year. She has always loved to sing, but she was shy about sharing her passion with others. Her parents posted videos of her online, and the response was overwhelmingly positive, bringing an opportunity with Tunes for Tots to perform for Make-A-Wish children. Her audition song was “You’re Lookin’ at Country.”

Meghan Linsey – From New Orleans, LA. Meghan grew up in New Orleans and was the lead singer of a band by the age of 14. After high school, she moved to Nashville, where she started performing in a duo, Steel Magnolia, winning the CMT show “Can You Duet,” earning a record deal and a national tour opening for Blake Shelton. Unfortunately, the years on the road took its toll, and the duo broke up. Her audition song was “Love Hurts.”

Sarah Potenza – From Smithfield, RI. Sarah grew up performing for her family and listening to her parents’ record collection. In junior high her voice got very low, and she performed as a baritone in an all-male choir and even sang male parts in musicals. With her father’s encouragement, she eventually started a band with her husband. Sarah’s dad always supported her individuality and told her to be true to herself. Her audition song was “Stay With Me.”

Travis Ewing – From Lafayette, LA. Travis’s musical journey started in his seventh-grade guitar class when his teacher encouraged him to try singing. In college, he performed cover songs at bars but wanted to put his own twist on things. He incorporated a loop pedal into his sets, allowing him to have the sound of a full band. His audition song was “Say My Name.”

  1. I am sick of all these country acts on the Voice. Get a Country Voice show. Like millions, while I like country, I do not like it as much as other genres.

  2. Roxanne: It’s ALL music, whether you like it or not. Last season I could have told you who would win before they announced it. With Blake’s 1 country singer and Adam’s 3 pop singers; it split the vote of those who like that type of music 3 ways and Blake was able to take the win. It’s a great show with tons of talent. No matter what genre they sing.

  3. Cody is not bad at country music, however he is not versatile enough. Meghan Linsey, has the whole package. She is very versatile and professional. Go Meghan

  4. Blake is the best judge because you can tell that he really cares about his Team and is a good sport with the other judges.

  5. Blake just blew it! He eliminated Cody for a guy who’s name I can’t remember. Oh Yeah! Cory something… I think Cody will have the last laugh. He will get a contract in Nashville and Cory will be long forgotten. I’d buy Cody’s CD in a minute!

  6. what is Blake thinking? I’m all-in with Cody, expecting his success, even amidst tonight’s big mistake of his elimination

  7. BLAKE YOU BLEW IT CODY WAS THE BEST ONE IT BROKE MY HEART WHEN YOU PICKED THAT OTHER ONE I HOPE HE LOSES IT FOR YOU. CODY WAS 10 TIMES BETTER

  23. I agree Blake blew it. There goes my season for the voice. What to watch now American Idol. Or do i want to see the look on Blake’s face when he lose’s.. !!!

  24. Blake really ‘screwed to pooch’ using his own phrase. Letting Cody go was the worst decision ever. I have not a clue what people see in Corey’s voice – he hasn’t hit a clear tone yet. (I don’t like husky voices; I prefer clear pure tones.) Right now, I’m rooting for Sawyer Fredericks. No one left on Blake’s team interests me.

  25. Blake just lost the competition last night with eliminating Cody Wickline. It makes me wonder about the credibility of this entire show. If Cody had been up against another artist who he didn’t clearly overshadow, fine! But Corey is forgettable. I had to look him up to remember his name. I changed channels and my husband agreed. I cant understand this decision when it clearly isn’t even close to what the fans wanted.

  27. Bake chose choose Corey over Cody because of Corey’s sob story about his grandpa passing and Blake losing his brother at a young age, also Corey came from the or close to same area Blake did, also how dare someone from West Virginia even consider making it on stage much less win, people from WV has always been looked down on, also he was gotten rid of before the people could vote, cause Cody would have surely have out did Corey, I am done with watchin this rigged show, it showed just how much it was when they voted Cody Wickline out, he had the looks, voice and energy that could have won the show for someone I hadn’t a clue who he even was until I looked him up, they had Cody winning on Blake’s team at 49.47 % of winning, no where was Corey’s name even in the % of even coming in at all.

  29. I’m still sick that Cody Wickline was not chosen to stay on The Voice. I have lost all respect for the show and believe Blake has made a joke of it by carrying this Corey kid through on the country and tween/teen vote…He doesn’t have the voice, the talent, the humility, the it factor, nothing to warrant being in the top 10 and he would not be there if it were not for BS. This boy isn’t even good enough to be in Idol’s top 10, let alone what the voice used to be….remain disgusted that blake deprived America and beyond of the joy that Cody Wickline brings when he performs. He’s not only got the voice, he knows how to use it and there is something so special about him that draws many who aren’t country fans…In all discussions about Cody, there is rarely anything but praise and awe for his talent. When Corey is discussed approx 60 to 80 % see him for what he is….average n ordinary. Why blake did this is question so many continue to ask and speculate about…There are varying opinions, but they either make blake sound incompetent or corupt…I don’t think he’s incompetant…I would be happy if he dropped off face of country music and I never had to hear his name again…

  30. All I can say is Cody winkline should have won the whole thing.. If it had been left up to America Cody wold have won no doubt about it, I think he did win Americas heart, I don’t mean to be rude but I don’t know how Cory even got to audition, that’s just my option…
