With thousands of people voting in our poll this weekend, your overwhelming prediction to win “The Voice” this season is Sawyer Fredericks. He is far out front of the other 12 contestants with 43.19% of the vote. Do you think he will triumph for this eighth season?
We asked about these 13 artists because we already know they are moving on to the live rounds for the NBC reality program on Monday, April 6. The other seven contenders to round out a 20-person field will be decided in the final knockout round this Monday, March 30.
Coaches Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Pharrell Williams have chosen these performers to be their featured artists going forward. Shelton has really been on a roll, prevailing for four of the first four seasons. Levine has won twice himself, but Aguilera and Williams have never had winners before.
Fredericks is the youngest artist in this competition at just 15 years old and competes on Team Pharrell. He is from Fultonville, New York, living on a farm with his parents. According to the NBC press department, “he loves farm life, but not having spent a lot of time in the public eye, he can be a bit shy and feels most comfortable behind his guitar. Despite his young age, he’s recorded his own album and plays once a week at a local farmer’s market.”
2. Hannah Kirby (Team Blake) at 16.21%.
3. Meghan Linsey (Team Blake) at 10.64%.
4. Corey Kent White (Team Blake) at 9.59%.
5. Sarah Potenza (Team Blake) at 5.08%.
6. Mia Z (Team Pharrell) at 4.66%.
7. Sonic (Team Christina) at 2.65%.
8. Deanna Johnson (Team Adam) at 1.77%.
9. Caitlin Caporale (Team Pharrell) at 1.69%.
10. Nathan Hermida (Team Adam) at 1.50%.
11. Kimberly Nichole (Team Christina) at 1.45%.
12. Brian Johnson (Team Adam) at 0.85%.
13. Koryn Hawthorne (Team Pharrell) at 0.73%.
