Lowell Oakley – From Durham, NC. Most kids Lowell’s age don’t listen to jazz, but ever since high school he’s wanted to be a crooner. Lowell loves Rat Pack-era music, wearing sharp suits and singing to a crowd. As a college freshman, he’s unsure of whether or not he should be practical and pursue a degree in business or follow his heart and pursue music. His audition song was “Don’t Get Around Much Anymore.”

Mia Z – From Hyde Park, PA. Mia gets her musical talents from her mom, who works as a social worker but has always been a music lover. One day, Mia’s mom heard her singing and was blown away, and now Mia sings lead vocals in a band with her mom and uncle. She loves singing the blues and has been told her voice is beyond her years. Her audition song was “The Thrill Is Gone.”

Paul Pfau – From Metro D.C. Paul got the music bug from his grandma, a self-taught pianist. In high school, Paul started a band, but after college he decided to go solo. His audition song was “Fly Me to the Moon.”

Sawyer Fredericks – From Fultonville, NY. Sawyer lives on an 88-acre farm in Upstate New York with his parents and his two brothers. He loves farm life, but not having spent a lot of time in the public eye, he can be a bit shy and feels most comfortable behind his guitar. Despite his young age, he’s recorded his own album and plays once a week at a local farmer’s market. His audition song was “I’m a Man of Constant Sorrow.”

  1. The voice is the best singing talent show ever. i love this show cant wait to watch it. don’t change a thing. it has a lot of great talent every year more so this year. But the judges are fantastic, funny, talented, and have a great relationship with each other and thats what makes the show. and Pharrell…. well he’s a keeper. love you guys…. Blake you’re funny and sweet . Christina I have your autograph love you…. and one of these day I want to go to one of your concerts. Adam who don’t think you’re adorable. But…. Pharrell, congratulations !!!! you have won the voice in Sawyer. great voice and a real nice gentleman.

  2. Of course all the tween girls will vote multiple times due to girlyboy’s looks. So much for the concept of the “The Voice”.

  3. The fact that Sawyer will win this is not because the girls will vote just looks, or anyone else in that matter. What will make a winner is a sound and style and demeanor that cuts through all ages and invokes a deep seated tug on your heart strings for good solid songs that go to the heart of America and all we feel and believe. His true heart and love of the music is what cuts above all the hype. Listen closely and you hear it in his soulful voice. As he grows, his impact will be felt for years and I believe he will stay true to his core.

  4. Sawyer, you are a fabulous talent…stay true to yourself & your dreams..I cannot say enough about your voice & your demeanor…you are a wonderful young man… Kudos to your parents..

  8. Totally agree with Steve Woodwards very articulate and inciscive comments. Whether Sawyer wins or not I predict great commercial success for him and India, whether either wins or loses they have already locked down commercial success is my humble opinion.

  10. Sawyer Fredericks,a 16 year old with strong potential talent to be a well know star a few years down the road.He has the talent, needs to perfect his craft now and this kid will build a powerful fan base.

  11. Sawyer Fredericks – poster child for how to manipulate the Voice outcome. Using social media to drive itunes purchases for top 10 rank vote multiplier and finale cummulative purchase vote degrades all of the efforts of every other performer. Every one of the performers on the Voice has talent – we watch over the season to see how each grows in craft with coaching and becomes a truly outstanding performer. Sawyer has shown very little expansion of his incoming talent and skills. No stage presence, no audience engagement, no pushing his voice and singing to new levels.
